Definitions Non Residential / Multi
Family - A customer that is described
as commercial, industrial, institutional, medical, warehouse etc. whose
water supply is indvidually OR master metered AND any residential multifamily
complex whose water supply is metered by a master meter. (example: Stratford
Apts.) Inside Rates- Rates applied to water customers within the Town
limits of Cary Outside Rates- Rates that are triple those of inside rates applied
to water customers outside the Town limits of Cary RTP Rates- Rates that are double those of inside rates applied
to those described as non residential customers within the southern portion
of Research Triangle Park. Example: Cisco, Net Edge, Biogen) Base Charge- A monthly charge based on meter size applied to
each water, sewer and irrigation service. (This applies to all customers)
Utility Rates
Residential Single Family
- A residential customer whose water supply
is individually metered. (This applies to houses, apartments, townhouses,
condos etc. that have a meter per dwelling)
