Block Leader Program

Block Leaders are citizens who volunteer as grassroots environmental educators on important issues such as conservation. The Town provides promotional materials once every spring or summer for them to distribute to neighbors. Block Leaders do not solicit anything from their neighbors, nor do they enforce ordinances.

Block Leaders serve areas ranging from a single cul-de-sac to an entire subdivision, depending on how much time they are able to volunteer.
